Calyx in association with Offlimit Communications and Nissan South Africa coded the engine that powers the voting platform for the Kaizer Chiefs Player of the Quarter Promotion. After each match fans can log onto the site and vote for who they feel was the best Kaizer Chiefs player and have the chance to win prizes which are given away to after each game and at the end of each quarter with the grand prize of a new car at the end of the promotion. From Offlimit Communications’ design Calyx built the system which publishes accurate match details and statistics at the end of each match, combines voting results on the web with SMS based votes, displays live voting results, integrates with Facebook and is fully functional over mobile browsers too.
