For Oakley, Calyx conceptualised and developed a socially powered online competition campaign where the winner lives out their dream internship job with Oakley. Entrants to the custom developed Facebook app first viewed an overview video which we produced and were then encouraged to submit a description of a previous, “awesome and extreme” job that they never had.
The more extreme and ridiculous the better. From there, entrants request their Facebook friends to vote for their entry, and at the end of the competition the person with the most votes wins their dream job. The campaign was a massive success, achieving viral status and increasing the Likes on the Oakley Facebook page by over 25%.
